Job Description:
SSR Mining is seeking a Process Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor for the Fixed Plant Process Maintenance team. Responsible for the direct supervision of the Crusher and ADR Mechanics. Will work closely with the Crusher and ADR planners for maintenance schedules and priorities. Supervisor will be accountable to oversee the safe completion of all allocated work. This position will be included in an “on-call” schedule along with other on call supervision. Supervisor will be expected to promote and enforce CC&V and MSHA safety regulations and requirements. This role will have 15 direct reports.
The Day to Day:

•Environmental Compliance
•Conduct daily pre-start meetings and crew line outs
•Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings
•Understand maintenance reliability to reduce unplanned down and re-do work
•Ensure that direct reports follow methods or procedures specified by planning team to achieve the outcome
•Ensure direct reports achieve daily schedule
•Ensure that during execution any other identifiable plant defects are repaired or recorded
•Ensure direct reports account for all work orders on a daily and weekly basis
•Works closely with the planners, reliability team and parts coordinator.
•Supervisor to understand all scheduled planned work
•Perform routine QA/QC of completed work with direct reports and planning staff
•Proactively manage urgent work with direct reports and planning staff to ensure safe execution of urgent work
•Be part of hiring, mentoring, coaching and succession planning
•Assist in Environmental State and Compliance Inspection
•Ensure training at all levels is being performed
•Manage performance issues when necessary.

Is this you?
•Experience in Crushing, conveying, screening, pumping and process equipment is required
•Previous supervisory experience preferred
•Must be able to read and understand P&ID and hydraulic schematics
•Knowledge in use of SAP (ERP system) is desired
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to work directly with others
•Excellent people skills in the areas of coaching and mentoring, data organization and evaluation skills
•Excellent presentational, interpersonal and communication skills appropriate to all organizational levels
•Self-starter with excellent team building and motivational skills
