The Micer is responsible for providing quality tool support for the production of the Service & Operations Department and meeting the requirements needed to fulfill the job order requested.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Inspects parts, assemblies and subassemblies to drawings and prints.
•Initiates non-conformance reports on all parts and assemblies that are not to drawing and print specifications.
•Assures that manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications and customer requirements.
•Initiates corrective action requests when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive in nature.
•Completes, inspects and distributes all quality records and documents.
•Performs specialized testing as required.
•Use basic hand tools to repair minor imperfections to threads.
•Verifies tests as required on all components and completed assemblies.

•Minimum of 1 year of experience in QA/QC.
•Computer knowledge (MS Word, Windows, email, internet, etc.).
•Communication skills (verbal and written).
•Functional and Technical Skills.
•Demonstrated ability to read and understand mechanical drawings required.
•Ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments (i.e. micrometers, veneers, and calipers) as required.
•Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
•May require overtime and weekend work.
