About This Job
The Micer is responsible for providing quality tool support for the production of the Service & Operations Department and meeting the requirements needed to fulfill the job order requested.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•
Inspects parts, assemblies and subassemblies to drawings and prints.
•
Initiates non-conformance reports on all parts and assemblies that are not to drawing and print specifications.
•
Assures that manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications and customer requirements.
•
Initiates corrective action requests when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive in nature.
•
Completes, inspects and distributes all quality records and documents.
•
Performs specialized testing as required.
•
Use basic hand tools to repair minor imperfections to threads.
•
Verifies tests as required on all components and completed assemblies.

•
Minimum of 1 year of experience in QA/QC.
•
Computer knowledge (MS Word, Windows, email, internet, etc.).
•
Communication skills (verbal and written).
•
Functional and Technical Skills.
•
Demonstrated ability to read and understand mechanical drawings required.
•
Ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments (i.e. micrometers, veneers, and calipers) as required.
•
Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
•
May require overtime and weekend work.
