About This Job

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a forward-thinking Project Manager to head our Electrical Interference Effects team within our Consulting group. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and is excited to help expand our service offerings across North America. With a demand in both Electrical and Oil and Gas sectors, this position offers significant potential for career advancement and professional growth.

In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to deliver cutting-edge studies on electrical interferences across critical infrastructure - pipelines, railroads, substations, and transmission systems. You will oversee modeling and analysis for AC/DC interference, EMI/EMF, and grounding systems, while also managing project timelines, budgets, and client relationships. Your expertise will shape the direction of our consulting services, and your voice will be heard at industry conferences and in strategic business development efforts.

Preferred locations would be based in Houston, TX, Denver, CO, or Chicago, IL, we are open to exceptional talent in other locations. This role involves occasional travel - up to 20% - giving you the chance to see the impact of your work firsthand and collaborate in person with clients and colleagues.

Required Qualifications

•

6-10 years of relevant experience leading interference studies for oil and gas pipelines, electrical powerlines and substations, HVDC systems, railways, and other related infrastructure.

•

Proficiency with SES CDEGS software suite, specifically Hi-Freq and/or ROW modules.

•

Communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

•

Field experience with soil resistivity testing, fall of potential measurements, and electrical grounding assessments.

•

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations including IEEE Std 80, 81, 2746, NACE/AMPP, CSA OCC-1-2013, and PHMSA 49, CFR 192 and 195.

•

SES Level 1 or NACE CP certification.

•

Professional licensure as a P.E.

This position pays between $140,000 to $160,000 annually and is an exempt position.
