A leader in non-ferrous metal recycling, GLE Scrap Metal is looking for experienced individuals to work in our Casselberry scrap yard.

The scale operator plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our facility. This position requires detail-oriented individuals with great computer skills.

This person would be responsible for identifying and grading various types of scrap metal, weighting/purchasing/handling/sorting the metals. Must also have experience operating a forklift.

Prior knowledge of different scrap metal grades is required.

Qualifications:

· Must have good knowledge of scrap material grades of non-ferrous material and build on that knowledge

· Friendly and personable attitude who is capable of working very closely with various customers daily

· Must know how to operate a forklift

· Must be able to work efficiently and independently

· Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

· Must be able to tolerate working outside is varying weather

· Must have great computer skills
