TC Energy is seeking a strategic Pipe Integrity (PI) Engineer to drive innovation and excellence in our rapidly evolving Gas Pipeline business. In this critical role, you will facilitate development of the Pipeline Integrity program in Eastern Canada and be responsible to ensure that the program is optimized to meet high standards for safety, compliance, reliability and efficiency.
- Facilitate development of the multi-year PI Program for pipelines in Eastern Canada
- Maintain a comprehensive view of risks and planned work on your assets which ensures consistency across disciplines & alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations & Projects, to develop strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the PI program.
- Support the development and implementation of standardized processes, tools, and metrics to track constraints, monitor the performance of the PI program, identify areas for improvement, and communicate program status & risks to key stakeholders.
- For Canadian candidates, registered as a P.Eng in the prevailing jurisdiction in good standing (e.g., APEGA in Alberta).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in pipeline integrity management, with a strong understanding of pipeline risk, integrity assessments and remediation.
- Proven track record of leading multi-year, cross-functional projects and programs
- Experience in risk-based decision-making, data analysis, economic analysis and alternatives analysis.
- Strong leadership with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and implement innovative solutions.
- Experience in Threat Management or Operations Planning would be an asset
