- Payroll processing, both bi-weekly and weekly in ADP Workforce Now.
- Collaborate with managers and facilities support to gather data, troubleshoot issues and maintain records related to pay.
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with local jurisdictions.
- HRIS Administration (Workday).
- Effectively processes payroll ensuring accuracy and completion.
- Follows procedures and completes audits and checks of data and activities.
- Benefit program administration.
- Providing various reports as needed.
- Keeps up to date with the latest Payroll trends and best practices.
- Works closely with colleagues on a variety of projects and priorities.
- Other duties as required.
- Payroll designation complete or in progress preferred.
- Proven competence in payroll systems, ADP Workforce Now highly preferred.
- 2+ years experience in a similar capacity.- General understanding of Canadian Employment Law fundamentals required.
- General understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Trustworthy and can maintain confidentiality.
- Flexible with a continuous learning mindset.
