Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various machinery and tools. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC press machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to read blueprints will be essential in ensuring that all production meets our stringent quality standards.
Duties
- Set up and operate press machines, ensuring they are calibrated correctly for production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications and requirements for each job.
- Utilize hand tools, CNC machines, milling machines, and lathes for fabrication tasks as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Monitor production processes for quality control, making adjustments as necessary.
- Use measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions of finished products.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating press machinery.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable.
- Experience using hand tools, cranes, lathes, and milling machines is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
