The salary range for this position is dependent on location and experience level ranging from $145,260- $181,575
This position reports to the Director – Municipal, Community & Business Relations and is a trusted and integral resource to Avangrid’s New York operations. Crucial to this role is the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Equally important is business acumen, expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail. Leadership skills and the ability to balance internal and external priorities are critical to the success of this role.
+ Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in customer service, operations and government or community relations.
+ Direct experience interacting with government, business and community leaders.
+ Minimum of 5 years management or supervisory experience.
+ Demonstrated success shown by progressively challenging roles.
+ Superior organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
+ Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver desired results
+ Fortitude to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines; ability to anticipate and/or react to project adjustments and alterations promptly, efficiently, and professionally
+ Strong problem-solving capabilities on an expedited basis
+ Flexibility during times of extreme change and challenge

+ Experience working in a utility environment with exposure to rates, tariffs and gas and electric distribution systems
