Safety, Health, Environment and Security (SHES) Specialist
The SHES Specialist is a key role for the development of ESG in the US and Canada as well as assisting our SHES programs for our field operations throughout APC. The SHES Specialist will assist with a variety of SHES activities and programs, to include environmental, manual creation and SHES programs as assigned by the Director of SHES. This will include all regulatory and SHES initiatives related to written policies/programs, development of program training materials, and validation means to ensure that APC is sustaining both compliance with the regulations, as well as working to build a sustainable safety culture. This position will also assist with determining the SHES KPI's or technical goals for higher-level managers, senior administrators, and other management leaders. They will establish administrative procedures and policies to promote/encourage compliance with applicable best practices and state and federal requirements.

- Align SHES programs and expectations with the APC SHES Safety & Compliance team, including development and validation efforts, as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of SHES procedures, policies, guidelines, and training.
- Assist in the development of annual SHES KPIs, including providing support to the APC locations to complete.
- Assist in mitigation of identified hazardous conditions or unsafe acts or conditions.
- Work with the APC Regional SHES Managers on improvement opportunities and customer goals to better align with APC goals.
- Point of contact for customer issues when SHE Managers or SHES Director are not available.
- Follow up on goals to ensure completion throughout the company.
- Assist with documenting the SHES improvement plans.
- Support the SHES Managers by continually reviewing our customer needs to build relationships in the field and keep tasks on track.
- Works with all management levels to effectively implement safety programs and requirements.

- Maintain knowledge of current best practices and changes in regulations/policies.
- Assist with the APC corporate, regional, and local EHS programs.
- Act as a SHES team stakeholder to support Intelex, as needed.
- Lead and develop the APC ESG efforts for SHES data for the field operations - US and Canada.
- Manage all environmental programs and policies per applicable federal or state requirements, including reporting requirements for SARA 312, stormwater, waste, etc.
- Understands OSHA, MSHA, EPA and ATF regulations and assists APC locations to ensure compliance with regulatory and APC SHES programs preferred but not required.
- Must have the ability to maintain professional relationship with other company employees, industry trade organizations, and customers.

- Familiar with Microsoft Office Software.
- Must be able to work flexible hours based on business needs.
