A DAY IN THE LIFE
•As an IT Solutions Architect - GIS, you will work with multiple Process Teams in partnership with the Business Process Owner to deliver business features using suitable technology.
•The IT Solutions Architect - GIS will have a strong desire to bring real world solutions to business needs, using some of the latest GIS techniques with the needs of end users and customers in mind.
•This position will have a strong understanding of how to bridge the worlds of business and technology. Working directly with a cross-functional Process Delivery Team, the IT Solutions Architect – GIS will help design, architect and deliver technology that supports business process improvement ideas stemming from business, engineering, and field requests.
•This role is accountable for facilitating processes requiring technical work to accomplish complex objectives, managing change, and resolving issues that span various teams and departments. This is done by planning, organizing, directing, and supervising inter-departmental activities while looking at automation as processes improve or evolve.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, Geographical Information Systems, or related degree; or combination of related work experience and education.
•Minimum of seven (7) years working experience utilizing and operating geographic information systems (in roles such as Solutions Architect, Process/Product Manager, or Delivery Lead); including at least two (2) years of experience performing complex GIS application and database projects and complex analytical assignments to meet broad scale business, information, and decision-support requirements.
•Hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS is required.

$108,449.00 - $157,250.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
