About The Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Procurement Analyst to support our Operations Team. In this role, you will manage the critical last phase of procurement, ensuring all necessary equipment is delivered to project sites efficiently and on time. You will work closely with 3PLs, internal Project Managers, and our ERP system to coordinate shipments, manage logistics, and track inventory.
Responsibilities
•Procurement Process Management: Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
•Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and terms to secure the best possible deals.
•Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project managers to forecast material needs.
•Cost Management: Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement. Prepare cost estimates and budgets.
•Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
•Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
•Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the solar or construction industry.
•Strong negotiation and communication skills.
•Innovative and adaptable, with excellent collaboration, organizational, and time management skills
•Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Teams
•Time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines
•Ability to adapt to changing priorities without compromising the quality of their work
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Organization and communication skills
•Detail-oriented, self-starter
•Valid Driver’s License, occasional travel to various job sites nationally as required
•Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
•Willingness to travel to New York City office on occasion
