About This Job

Shine Bros. Corp. is seeking a skilled and dedicated welder/fabricator for its Maintenance Department. Position involves repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment. This role requires precision, a strong understanding of welding techniques, and the ability to work effectively with both hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Perform welding tasks using a variety of processes, demonstrating a strong knowledge of welding techniques to ensure high-quality welds.

•

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and welding procedures.

•

Accurately read and use a tape measure for precise material preparation and fabrication.

•

Operate and maintain various hand and power tools safely and proficiently (e.g., grinders, drills, saws, torches).

•

Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and products according to specifications.

•

Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

•

Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

•

Ability to interpret and work accurately from complex drawings and blueprints.

•

Proficient in reading and using a tape measure accurately.

•

Demonstrated proficiency with hand and power tools relevant to welding and fabrication.

•

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

•

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

•

Ability to frequently lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.

•

Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment, which may include exposure to noise, heat, and dust.
