We are seeking an experienced Vice President / Director of Data Center Project Development & Delivery to lead the full lifecycle of data center projects in the U.S., from early-stage project development and site selection through execution, construction, and commercial operation.
This role will be responsible for driving project strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required technical and commercial standards.
Lead data center project development activities including site selection, feasibility studies, permitting, and utility coordination (power, water, network).
Evaluate market opportunities and support investment decision-making through technical and commercial analysis.
Work with internal stakeholders to define project scope, capacity planning, and development roadmap.
Own end-to-end project delivery from design through construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.
Manage EPCs, contractors, designers, and key equipment suppliers (power, cooling, BESS, etc.).
Establish and enforce project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Build and optimize project management systems, workflows, and reporting standards.
Implement best practices for cost control, schedule control, and change management.
Coordinate with finance, legal, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Serve as the primary owner for project execution in the U.S. region.
Lead and develop project management and engineering teams.
Communicate with investors, partners, utilities, and local authorities as needed.
Represent the company in key project meetings and external negotiations.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Construction Management, Energy, or related field.
10+ years of experience in data center, energy infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects.
Strong experience in at least two of the following:
Proven track record of delivering complex projects (USD 50M+ scale preferred).
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, redundancy, reliability).
Excellent project management, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with AI data centers or high-density facilities.
Experience working with utilities, ISOs, and permitting authorities in Texas.
