Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Vectorworks CAD Drafter to join our design and engineering team. This position will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Vectorworks for staging and structural designs in support of live event productions. You’ll work closely with project managers, fabricators, and clients to turn concepts into buildable, safe, and production-ready designs.

Requirements:

•

Proficiency in Vectorworks Spotlight (2D & 3D drawing skills required)

•

Strong understanding of staging, truss systems, rigging, and live event production setups

•

Ability to read and interpret technical plans, measurements, and elevations

•

Experience in drafting for fabrication or entertainment production a plus

•

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

•

Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines

•

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

•

Background in live events, theater, or architectural drafting

•

Experience with 3D modeling and rendering in Vectorworks

•

Familiarity with production elements like lighting plots, rigging loads, and set pieces

•

Basic knowledge of structural engineering principles is a bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
