We are looking for a Business Alignment Project Manager to play a critical part in shaping and executing ENMAX Power’s business and regulatory strategy. The successful candidate will help ensure that all regulatory applications align with ENMAX Power’s business objectives and strategic goals while meeting compliance requirements, including Rate Applications, Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) Bulletins, and AUC Rules.
This role also supports long-term financial modeling activities, enabling informed strategic and regulatory decision-making. Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional projects that establish and guide ENMAX Power’s strategic direction, ensuring alignment with corporate and regulatory mandates.
As a central governance function, the Business Alignment role is essential in integrating operational, financial, and regulatory priorities, driving cohesive and strategic business outcomes.
Major Responsibilities
•Project manage cross functional strategic initiatives/projects
•Achieve alignment of positions, strategy, and approaches between Regulatory, Finance, and EP Operational leaders through indirect leadership to achieve strategic goals
•Contribute to the development of strategies and advocacy positions that enable EP’s business objectives and operational requirements, ensuring alignment with EP’s Business Plan
•Own and maintain Enmax Powers strategic long term investment planning tool which is used in determining the corporate direction/strategy
•Develop a coordinated Enmax Power position in response to requests from public bodies eg AESO.
•Review and provide business guidance (as part of the alignment team) on all regulated filings including rate and facility applications, business cases, submissions on AUC Bulletins and Rules, Minimum Filing Requirements (MFR) financial schedules and compliance matters
•Cultivate knowledge of key regulated business precedent; support the ongoing analysis and documentation of business decisions
•Assist with implementation of process changes and improvements for Business Optimization and Productivity activities that require coordination with regulatory and finance
•Develop and implement governance functions on key EP processes including Document Management
•Increase regulated business acumen by providing specialized training to EP team members
Education Required
•University degree specializing in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business or equivalent.
Qualifications & Experience
•A minimum of 10 years of related work experience
•Demonstrated strong leadership skills
•MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Project)
•Understand complex technical regulatory and financial information and transpose into clear and concise written form
•Extensive knowledge of business, accounting, finance, budgeting, and planning activities

•Proven analytical skills for assessing complex situations, problems and decisions
•Self-directed, well organized, able to prioritize and execute responsibilities through influencing others

•Effective written, verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to target communications to different audiences

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
