Our Mechatronics & Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance and optimization of manufacturing equipment and systems related to metal fabrication, assembly and powder coating of Pressure Washers at the Decaturville, TN location. The Mechatronics Technician must have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and computer systems, as it relates to automated machinery and robotics. The role will work closely with engineering and production to optimize the automation production processes while troubleshooting and upgrading systems.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Install, configure, maintain and repair CAM (Computer Aided Machining) and similar configuration/set-up of production equipment related to laser and plasma cutting, tube bending and coiling, welding and electrostatic powder coating.

Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to assist with repairs and installations.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in manufacturing systems and provide solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Provide training and technical support to production regarding production equipment, processes, safety regulations and quality control procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production managers and engineers, to support a lean mindset and continuous improvements.
Assist in the continuous development of documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for automation systems.
Recommend process adjustments based on performance data and industry trends.
Perform additional duties as assigned.


WHAT YOU HAVE:

Associate degree or certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.


WHO YOU ARE:

Proven experience (2+ years) in a mechatronics or maintenance technician role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, robotics, control systems, and sensors.
Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and equipment.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing automated systems, including robotic and conv.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and within a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

You are physically fit, energetic and self-motivated.
You have the ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
You have a “safety first” mindset and understand the importance of upholding safety standards.
You are comfortable using computers and can navigate systems efficiently.
You have experience with continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Kaizen) and manufacturing concepts.
You are legally able to work in the USA.
