Stores/Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Stores/Warehouse Supervisor to be responsible for the overall warehouse supervision. The successful candidate will be able to manage personnel to meet manufacturing operations for a 24/7 per week schedule within the warehouse. Candidates will have the most success if they have a strong background in SAP, staff supervision, cycle counts, employee performance management and performance issues. The below responsibilities are not all inclusive

Responsibilities

- Manage a team of employees to perform warehouse functions including receiving, storing, issuing and shipping materials, supplies and equipment.

- Scheduling transportation; cycle counting; planning work schedules

- Responsible for the quality and output indicators of all transactions and inventory within the warehouse

- Complete administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

- Reviews Daily reports on perpetual cycle count and ensure correctness of stock; compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and stay on top of current market conditions

- May be responsible for the budgeting of items, ordering materials, managing overtime, equipment usage and accounts payable items.

- Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.

- Performs basic housekeeping duties as necessary to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

- Responsible for all safety and quality processes and procedures

- Requires physical handling or movement of the material

- Additional duties as needed

Skills

- Proven successful experience as a warehouse supervisor

- Powerful leading skills and business orientation

- Proficient in the use of SAP computer system

- Strong organizational skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong language and mathematical skills

- BS degree in relevant field preferred or a combination of education and 5+ years of experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
