Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Core Services

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager of Core Infrastructure Operations to lead our dynamic team in managing, optimizing, and enhancing our cloud and on-premises hosting environments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Cloud technologies, Infrastructure and Operating Systems management, Backup and Recovery, operational best practices, and demonstrated cross-functional skills in a matrixed environment.

This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT environment, supporting our business objectives and driving innovation. The Senior Manager will be responsible for maintaining robust solutions, optimizing system performance, and streamlining operations with automation to improve efficiency.

This position requires a strong collaborator, people manager, and strategic thinker who can balance day-to-day operational, capacity, delivery, and forecasting needs while ensuring critical systems remain resilient, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs.

The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $164,000 - $205,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates’ relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
