Solar Sales Manager D2D - Build the Team From Scratch
Location: Calgary, AB (In-Person) Job Type: Full-time
We’re hiring a Door-to-Door Solar Sales Manager to build a team from zero, recruit hungry reps, train them into closers, and lead from the front. You’ll be out in the field producing yourself and earning manager overrides on every deal your team closes.
This is for someone with high standards, relentless energy, and a real track record in D2D.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard door-to-door solar reps
- Set daily/weekly targets, track activity and performance, and enforce accountability
- Run morning meetings, roleplays, ride-alongs, and ongoing coaching
Sell Solar Door-to-Door (Lead From the Front)
- Knock doors, generate leads, book appointments, and close homeowners
- Educate customers on solar benefits, incentives, installation timelines, and savings
- Gather required site info (including electrical panel photos) to support accurate proposals
- Teach scripting, objection handling, and closing systems
- Build competitive energy and a performance-first environment
- Develop future leaders and scale a team that produces consistently✅ Base salary (structured for a high-performance manager)

- Proven door-to-door experience (solar is a plus)
- Strong recruiter + coach — you can build a team and get them producing fast- Confident communicator with sharp objection-handling and closing ability
- Self-motivated, competitive, and consistent with daily activity
- Comfortable working evenings/weekends as needed (prime knocking hours)
