Security Officer Part-time

Division: OmniSource Overview:

Maintains safe and secure environment for employees and customers by patrolling and monitoring premises; reports irregularities or hazards, directs traffic and escorts employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

+ Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property. + Checks for safety/fire hazards, vandalism, suspicious activity or persons. + Checks doors and windows of building to ensure they are locked and secure. + Investigates and reports irregularities or hazards. + Obtains help by sounding alarm or contacting appropriate authorities or management. + Controls traffic by directing drivers. + Provides directions and escorts customers to proper areas. + Escorts employees to their vehicles after hours.
