Seasonal Building & Grounds Worker

Seasonal Building and Grounds Worker – Contract, (about 4 months Nov – March) This position is located onsite in Bridgman, MI Are you interested in being part of an innovative team that supports Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions? Your Day-to-Day

- Daily activities to maintain the building and grounds

- Cut lawn using hand, power or riding equipment, trim and edge around walks, flowerbeds, walls.

- Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs; prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth.

- Remove snow and ice from roads, walkways and steps; may rake leaves, clean and sweep litter.

- Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment used in grounds keeping.

- Perform minor building maintenance, plumbing, painting

- Move office furniture and supplies.

- Task will occasionally require you to stand; sit; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl; and talk; or hear.

- Perform task that require close vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Who You Are

- High School Diploma or educational equivalent.

- Valid Driver's License, required. Commercial Driver License (CDL) is desired but not required.

- Minor maintenance, snow plowing, and lawn care experience desired but not required.

- Frequently required to walk; use hands to handle; and reach with hands and arms and lift and move up to 75 pounds

- The work will include outdoors and therefore subject to weather conditions.

- You can work either day shift or night shift.

- Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $14/hr to $19/hr.
