Job Purpose
Roof Tech will be responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of a waterproof membrane on an existing roof.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials, tools, or supplies.
•Must have 3-5 years Roofing Experience.
•Evaluate roofs to gather information for estimating projects.
•Conduct roof evaluations, test cuts, pull tests, moisture surveys, and deck evaluations.
•Measuring roof dimensions and other critical information, inventory penetrations, & photographing roof
•Professional development to stay current with industry standards, processes, and techniques.
•Review take off job info with Project Coordinator and/or Estimators.
•Conduct roof inspection and provide a written report.
•Ability to communicate with customers.
•Must have knowledge of all roofing Systems.
•Must be able to make repairs on all roofing Systems per manufactures specifications.
•The ability to identify existing roof
•The ability to determine if the slope is in the deck or in the existing roofing assembly.
•Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials, tools, or supplies.
•Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
•Must be able to work out of town.
•Must be able to pass a pre-hire criminal background check & drug screening.
