Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Quarry Supervisor to lead and oversee daily operations at our quarry site. This pivotal role involves managing heavy equipment, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating extraction activities, and maintaining efficient workflows. As a Quarry Supervisor, you will be instrumental in optimizing productivity while upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility. Your leadership will drive team performance and ensure that all operations align with company goals and regulatory requirements.

Duties

- Supervise daily quarry activities, including extraction, crushing, and processing operations, to meet production targets efficiently.

- Operate and oversee heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and water trucks to facilitate material handling and site maintenance.

- Coordinate pipeline setups and monitor their integrity to ensure smooth material flow and safety compliance.

- Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment to troubleshoot issues promptly and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.

- Enforce MSHA standards by conducting safety inspections, training sessions, and incident investigations.

- Manage construction equipment like loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and other miscellaneous machines for various operational needs.

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to dust control, water management, and waste disposal.

- Lead a team of operators and support staff by providing clear instructions, training, and performance feedback to foster a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and other miscellaneous machines in a construction or quarry setting.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on construction machinery.

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards. Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
