About This Job
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a TIG Welder with a focus on precision welding, along with a basic understanding and interpreting of technical drawings, blueprints, and diagrams.
Responsibilities
•
Utilize TIG welding techniques to achieve fabrication according to specifications.
•
Ability to read and have basic understanding of technical and assembly drawings.
•
Identify and troubleshoot any discrepancies between drawings and actual components during fabrication.
•
Set-up welding equipment, adjust machine setting, maintain equipment and select the correct diameter filler for the application.
•
Be able to perform welds while maintaining consistency.
Quality Control and Inspection
•
Inspect completed parts for accuracy, weld integrity, and overall quality.
•
Identify and rectify any defects or imperfections, making necessary adjustments or corrections.
•
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with welding equipment, tools, and materials.
Skills/Qualifications
•
Proficient in TIG welding and fabrication techniques
•
Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics
•
At least five (5) years of welding experience, certification preferred
•
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle tools and equipment
•
High school diploma or GED certificate
•
MIG welding experience is a plus
•
TIG welding experience required (5 years plus)
•
Ability to read and interpret blueprints with welding symbols
•
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
•
Attention to detail – ensuring welds are precise and meet quality standards
•
