The Project Manager serves as the focal point for all engineering issues regarding the development for improvement programs to which he/she is assigned. This includes receiving, interpreting and refining customer requirements, coordinating design and process reviews and establishing product and process parameters for the costing and quoting functions. Development programs include, part design, engineering tasks and computer-aided drawing.

Four-year college degree in engineering discipline; also a thorough knowledge of CAD systems and ability to move from design concept to finished design, including layouts, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5M), and detail and tooling drawings.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
