National Grid is hiring a Principal Analyst, Regulatory Delivery and Strategy. This role can be based in our Brooklyn, NY or Waltham, Massachusetts offices. This is a hybrid role, with a mix of office and remote work. Job Purpose
Successful candidates will be a key member of the Policy and Regulatory Strategy team for National Grid's NY and MA jurisdictions within National Grid's U.S. Policy and Regulatory Strategy Group. In the context of the changing energy landscape, this role will lead as a critical interface between the Company and its core regulatory stakeholders on all aspects of our company's clean energy future.
Working directly with a team of regulatory analysts and alongside a wider strategy and policy team, this position combines: strategy development and execution, stakeholder engagement and negotiation, definition and oversight of analytical and quantitative analysis; identification of emerging policy and strategic questions throughout NGUSA; regulatory, market, and policy research; extensive written communication (e.g., memos, studies, regulatory filings, and legislative drafting); and cross-functional collaboration within National Grid.
The successful candidate will have a correspondingly balanced skill set and experience with the ability to articulate and gain support for the Company's vision and strategy, develop innovative regulatory proposals, negotiate successful outcomes for customers and the company, develop new areas of expertise, think creatively, and balance multiple competing demands.

$152k - $172k a year in Brooklyn, NY.
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
