About the role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Plumbers are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for a variety of facilities and systems at our Elkview Operation. This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 day shift schedule. Come experience what work life balance is all about!

The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.

In this role you will:

- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for a variety of facilities throughout the entire site

- Proactive diagnosis of facility deficiencies and supporting the coordination of those facility maintenance requirements through the maintenance supervisor

- Maintain the Sewage Treatment Plant and Potable Water System

Requirements:

- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Plumber Certification

- Class B gas fitting certification

- Valid driver’s license

- General knowledge of other skillsets consisting of electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and welding is considered an asset

- Small Waste Water Treatment and Small Water Systems Certifications would be considered an asset

Hourly Wage: $52.64

Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location. It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
