American Ring is recruiting a Full Time Order Entry Clerk who is organized, efficient, and able to work in a team. We are third generation family-owned company who prides ourselves on providing exemplary customer service. We specialize in the manufacturing and supply of retaining rings and snap rings.
*Enter all sales orders into ERP system (Business Central)
*Expected to maintain a 99.65 success rate on orders entered
*Daily data entry and management of orders; including coordination of special requests, ship dates, packaging requirements, order confirmations and customer quality requirements.
*Answer phones and emails; direct specialty requests to the proper department
*Be proficient with data entry into ERP system.
*Coordinate with Purchasing Department to maintain inventory levels and communicate customer demand changes.
*Work with Outside Sales team to resolve outstanding issues, including pricing and inventory conflicts, changes in delivery information and other problems that arise.
*Notify Quality Control Department of customer blueprint changes, RMA's, PPAP or certification requests.
*Experience in Manufacturing and the Fastener Industry a plus.
*Experience with ASNs, data entry and shipping logistics.
*2+ years of major work experience in similar position or degree is preferred
*Ability be flexible and adapt to changing job and customer requirements.
*Must be able to sit and work on computer for up to 8 hours a day.
