· Processing customer purchase orders into work orders for the production team in Excel
· Converting work orders into order confirmations for review and issuance in Profit Master
· Sending order confirmations and packing slips for all orders to appropriate plants for manufacturing
· Checking other order desk team member’s work for errors and omissions
· Communicating with customers in a pleasant and timely manner regarding orders as required
· Troubleshoot order processing issues and help resolve customer complaints
· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
· Minimum 1-2 years of administrative office work, with experience in an order entry capacity preferred
· Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
· Detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
· Profit master database knowledge considered an asset but not required
· Manufacturing or building supply experience an asset
