The Network Infrastructure Specialist position pays between $63,440 and $79,300, the Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist position pays between $78,640 and $98,300, and the Lead Network Infrastructure Specialist position pays between $95,360 and $119,200. Placement in any level is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.

- Monitors and maintains the network infrastructure stability while supporting root cause analysis related to malfunctioning or inoperative hardware/software and routine maintenance, including scheduled maintenance and backups
- Provides support and training to users relevant to all installed or future network infrastructure
- analysis of the network infrastructure needs and contributes to the design, integration, and installation of present and future technology, including communication with vendors
- development of an emergency plan to deal with a catastrophic event and ensure the plan is updated
- test and evaluation of hardware/software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems
- analysis, planning, design, and execution of network infrastructure projects, including maintenance and creation of documentation related to all components
- installation of hardware/software by third parties
- setup, configuration, moves, etc. to support new hires and movement of personnel and offices
Senior and Lead Levels-Entry Level Duties Plus Additional Responsibilities
- A high school diploma. Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technology field.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Entry Level; A minimum of 1 year of experience in network infrastructure, information technology, or data center operations. (4 years preferred). Preference given to applicants with Cisco CCNA or Microsoft MCSA/MCSE.
- Senior Level: Three years (3) experience in infrastructure, IT, or data center operations. Prefer four (4) years’ experience in network administrator role.
- Lead Level: Five (5) years’ experience in networking infrastructure, IT or data center operations. Prefer six (6) experience in the same.
- Preference given to applicants with CISCO CCNP, CCNP Enterprise, or other related professional networking certification.
Office environment. Position requires working longer hours and/or on-call to handle emergency response as needed to meet business needs. Will be required to travel.
