The workplace is in Nunavik, and the regular work schedule is on a 4-week rotation with 2 weeks of work (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks of rest.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the Technical Advisor in Mobile Maintenance actively participates in the garage's operational activities, ensuring seamless execution of work and overall organizational efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with different trades within the garage, as well as with warehouse teams and external clients. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
•Ensure communication with clients to schedule maintenance appointments and keep them informed about the completion of work;
•Handle priority calls (P0) and major emergencies (P00) for prompt and efficient resolution;
•Work collaboratively with the supervisor to define priorities and optimize work planning;
•Maintain mining KPIs (Key Performance Indicators);
•Manage work orders (WO): Open and close WOs, ensuring their compliance, and input information provided by mechanics;
•Scan and organize documentation in the IT guide and relevant reports (Mectal, Garvex, etc.).;
•Prepare and print work cards for the supervisor and technicians;
•Update personnel data and maintain the garage attendance sheet;
•Passer les commandes de pièces nécessaires aux interventions en P0 et P00 pour les mécaniciens, en vous assurant de la disponibilité en temps voulu;
•Effectuer des recherches pour trouver les pièces spécifiques nécessaires aux travaux de maintenance.
Qualifications
•Hold a high school diploma or a degree in automotive mechanics or a related field;
•Previous experience in coordinating mobile maintenance or a similar role would be an asset;
•Proficiency in using computer tools and being comfortable with maintenance management systems like Mectal, Garvex, etc., would be advantageous;
•Good knowledge of MS Office software suite;
•Bilingualism (functional proficiency in French and English);
•Knowledge of maintenance processes and safety requirements;
•Holding a valid Class 5 or Class 1 driver's license.
