Solify Canada Inc. is seeking a licensed Master Electrician to join our growing team. This role involves overseeing and performing electrical work on residential and light commercial projects, primarily within the renewable energy and energy-efficient solutions space. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and applicable regulations.
- Perform, supervise, and sign off on electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs
- Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and ESA requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and other trades onsite
- Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation, permits, and compliance records
- Follow company safety policies and provincial safety standards
- Travel to job sites across Ontario as required
- Valid Master Electrician License (Ontario)
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable traveling to job sites throughout Ontario (Company vehicle is provided)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks typical of construction and electrical work
- Experience with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
- Experience working alongside or integrating HVAC systems
- Familiarity with renewable energy, battery storage, or energy-efficient technologies
- Competitive hourly rate up to $45/hour, based on experience
