The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for carrying out various responsibilities related to all of Axis Energy Services’ marketing initiatives and communications such as developing and managing content to support marketing campaigns. This role involves creating various types of content, such as blog posts, social media updates, website copy, and more, across different digital platforms. These responsibilities will include but not be limited to the creation, design, implementation, and writing of multi-channel marketing projects. The successful candidate will be a driven, detail-oriented content creator and will produce high-quality output for our business.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support the Sales Department by assisting with preparing quotes, proposals, customer deep dive analysis, videos, slide shows, etc. based on market intelligence and research. This can include providing relevant data/information such as regional pricing, customer needs, market trends, etc.
- Design, review, edit, and update content for Axis Energy Services’ website, marketing materials and promotional activities.
- Manage the productivity of marketing plans and projects by reviewing and reporting on ROI.
- Support the Sales Department by assisting with preparing quotes, proposals, customer Deep-dive analysis content and videos.
- Frequently develop and post on Axis Energy Services social media and other accounts to create and increase brand awareness and promote company initiatives including employee engagement.
- Assist with sponsorship and presentation efforts for events such as oil and gas industry trade shows and conferences, golf tournaments, various industry, and customer appreciation events.
- Use social media to engage internal and external consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and promote company initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments such as Safety and L&D to establish training objectives and produce video content for training videos.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 3-4 years’ experience in a marketing role, oil and gas industry preferred.
- Proven ability to create and implement marketing campaigns across various platforms.
- Demonstrated record of being able to gather market, customer, and industry data and create relevant information and efforts that achieve organizational sales objectives.
- Required experience in roles with heavy research (market, customer, sales, etc.) responsibilities.
- Experience in creating and implementing marketing campaigns across various platforms.
- Demonstratable skillset such as original writing samples, art/design work, social media/blog campaign management, video, and digital marketing, etc.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
- Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
