JOB SUMMARY

Title: Maintenance

Pay Rate: $33.00 starting wage per hour plus shift differential

General Schedule of Hours: Monday - Friday for training

Starting 9/2 we will be moving to 12 hour shifts. 2 week rotation.

week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.

Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.

(Overtime is available if desired, may be needed in call-out emergency situations)

Maintenance staff will be responsible to have the knowledge of general and safety maintenance-oriented tasks associated with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Tasks will include routine work, as well as multi-faceted levels related to manufacturing equipment. General building and property maintenance is helpful. Knowledge of industrial machine electricity is valuable and helpful for the plant floor environment. Must possess ability to work in a team environment as well as having initiative and working on own without supervision. Interaction with vendors/contractors will be required.

Tasks will include (all trained by NAC):

NAC is a drug free work environment (testing done pre-employment and also monthly random checks). NAC will conduct a background check (no felonies accepted).

SUMMARY OF SKILLS and ABILITIES REQUIRED

The applicant should have entry level experience in maintenance and/or electrical departments and be able to have a basic level of troubleshooting and to conduct good decision making. Forklift and Overhead Crane operations will be trained and certified. Basic computer skills with Outlook, Excel and Word for maintenance reports is helpful. Ability to Lift 50 lbs., Organizational Skills, Safety Awareness, Attention to Detail is important. Standing, Walking, Bending, Sitting is all necessary for this position.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

High School Graduate (GED accepted), Technical School helpful. Certifications are welcomed.
