Job Summary
- Assist Land Team with review of various types of oil and gas agreements (analyze same)
- Assist/draft/compile documents, agreements, correspondence
- Research/compile internal/external well proposals/joint operating agreements and related agreements
- Assist in complex calculations of working interest and net revenue interest
- Prepare and review various surface related oil and gas agreements to assist field Landmen
- Receive/analyze and communicate to extended team members for outside operated authorizations for expenditure
- Responsible for internal document execution input, routing, and delivery
- Identify/maintain and assist in contractual obligations
- Liaison type functional role between field land operations and internal land operations
- Assist in multiple acquisition and divestiture type initiatives
- Prepare, track, follow up and report out to Land Team on well/work over proposals
- 3-15 years of In-House Landman experience, with Uinta Basin experience (or materially similar Basin) preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills; ability to exercise business judgment/make sound decisions
- Detail oriented and capable of producing results in time constrained situations
- Adaptable to changing business needs and requests
- Acquisitions and divestitures experience
- Surface fee / easements / ROW acquisition and maintenance experience required
- Experience with GIS and Land Systems
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Project management skills; ability to deliver results in a performance driven and team-oriented environment
- Ability to work with other departments and work with counterparts in other companies
