Wear-Tek is a Steel Foundry and Machine Facility Located in Spokane, WA. We are currently seeking a full time Industrial Electrician to become a long-term member of our team. We have an excellent team of knowledgeable and dedicated people pulling towards the common goal of being profitable.

General Summary:

This position will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will be responsible for performing journey-level work in the safe and efficient design, installation, construction, modification, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Pay and Benefits:

- $28.00 - $36.00 per hour.

- Monthly profit sharing bonuses after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

- Installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment

- Inspecting electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair

- Diagnosing system and component malfunctions. correction of the cause of the breakdown.

- Ensuring equipment is in good working condition - Maintaining accurate records

Job Requirements:

- This position will be able to perform inspections, repairs and rebuilds of plant equipment

- Two (2) years’ experience in electrical and overall experience in maintaining industrial equipment

- Willing to climb ladders, walk up and down steps and work at heights

- Must have attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

- Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and positive team attitude

- Ability to read/write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos

- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

- Foundry experience a plus

- Electrical troubleshooting experience

- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience

- High school diploma or GED
