JOB DESCRIPTION:

•

Operate equipment in a safe manner and obey OSHA safety guidelines.

•

Move, pick up and grade material, including earth and stone or other material.

•

Discusses plans for the day’s work with supervisor, reviews blueprints if necessary and determines best method of getting assigned work done safely, accurately, and on time.

•

Manipulate or depress and hand/ or foot controls including pedals, levers and buttons to regulate speed and direction of the Heavy Equipment.

•

Performs equipment maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines.

•

Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.

•

Check machinery before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.

•

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•

Must have at least 2 years of related work experience.

•

Experience with GPS (Preferred)

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

•

Qualified applicants must have a valid U.S. Driver's License and a clean driving record.

•

Must have own transportation to work as we are not accessible by public transportation.

•

This is a full-time day position with some weekend and night work available. Daily hours are weather dependent.

•

Able to work in a safe manner, follow OSHA guidelines and keep work area clean.

•

Reliable attendance. Must have a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment.

•

Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

•

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

•
