Financial Systems Manager

Pattern Energy Group Services LP has an opening for a Financial Systems Manager in Houston, TX. 40 hrs./wk. Job duties: Primary responsibility for all information system flows within the company’s Treasury and Cash Management processes. This involves setup, monitoring, and maintenance of multiple bi-directional file formats between the company’s TMS, ERP and external Banks including daily bank statements, payment files, and confirmation of receipts. Troubleshoot occasional file transmission errors, identifying root causes and working with external bank representatives and internal parties as necessary to resolve issues and resume critical data transfers. Manage daily system administration needs within the TMS and ERP systems, including master data maintenance of bank accounts and other key configuration elements that are crucial to daily operations that support accurate and timely flows of information across all systems. Partner with cash management teams to set up and maintain business rules in the ERP system and/or TMS to support electronic bank statement reconciliations and maximize automation of cash accounting. Maintain process maps using Microsoft Visio tool for current and possible future state business processes and recommend solutions as a subject matter expert to simplify and streamline the future state of those business processes for optimal information flow both upstream and downstream of Treasury. Work closely with management, business owners and technical teams internally and externally to effectively document the business needs into functional design specifications using tools like Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure Dev Ops and Microsoft SharePoint. Design, build, implement, and maintain various automated process improvement solutions based on the business requirements and the management’s prioritization. Demonstrate the future state solutions as proof-of-concepts for the business owners and incorporate any changes to the solution before actual implementation. Manage system enhancements and bug fixes through the change control process by liaising with the business team and the technical development team as well as by attaining signoff for functional unit testing, user acceptance testing, system integration testing and business owner approval. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or an IT related field, and 7 years of experience as a financial systems manager or in a related role/capacity; 7 years of experience completing daily cash reconciliation processes for Treasury, Cash Management, and AP; 7 years of experience completing technical integrations and handling workflow between these business cycles; 7 years of experience configuring and/or customizing a TMS system and ERP modules related to Cash & bank management, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, and General ledger; 7 years of experience performing configurations and/or customizations for a TMS system and ERP modules specifically within Reval, D365 or SK Global Treasury Automation Suite; 7 years of experience interpreting BAI2 and MT940 bank file formats and how these impact payment and cash management processes; 7 years of experience working in a TMS or ERP implementation project; 7 years of experience setting up and troubleshooting transmissions between external banks and the company’s TMS and ERP systems; 7 years of experience engaging in real time problem solving in cases of critical file transmission errors; 7 years of experience setting up and maintaining automated test flows in a regression test software system.
