DEPCOM Power is seeking a Field Services Health and Safety Specialist to support operational utility-scale solar and battery storage (BESS) sites across the United States. This role is part of the HSSE team and focuses on field-based safety oversight, compliance, and support for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and EPC-related activities.
This role requires significant travel, including extended site assignments. The specialist will have a designated remote home base and will travel between project sites . Our Team

What You Will Do
- Inspect and audit utility-scale solar and battery storage sites to ensure compliance with DEPCOM Power standards, OSHA regulations, and customer requirements.
- Monitor daily field activities to verify safe work practices, including PPE use, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety.
- Conduct site walk-throughs to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Provide on-site safety support and coaching to field technicians, including audits and field assessments.
- Support the development and delivery of safety programs, procedures, training, and emergency response drills in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and NFPA 70E.
- Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions while partnering with EPC and O&M teams to drive continuous safety improvement.
- Electrical operations experience
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
- Hands-on experience in health and safety roles supporting field operations.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 75%, including extended site assignment
- Relevant safety certifications such as CESCP, OSHA 511, NFPA 70E Training, or similar.
- First Aid / CPR certification.
- Working knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage systems, and maintenance operations.
- Experience supporting both EPC and O&M environments.
For this role, we anticipate paying $35.00 - $42.00 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
