We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician who can hit the ground running on standby generators and engine systems. Candidates must meet the required certifications and field experience, to be considered for this role.

Reporting to the Service Manager, in this role you will:

- Respond to emergency field service calls for standby generator systems

- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic services, and repairs on natural gas diesel engines

- Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems and control panels

- Complete startups, commissioning, calibration, and load bank testing

- Accurately complete service reports, timesheets, and warranty documentation

- Represent Collicutt on-site with professionalism and strong customer communication.

Qualifications and Skills

Required (MUST HAVE)

- Journeyperson Industrial Electrician Ticket OR Generator Technician License (M-D License).

AND

- 5+ years of hand-on field service experience in the power generation industry.

- Proven experience working independently from a field service truck.

- Strong background servicing emergency standby generator systems.

- Solid working knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and service manuals.

- Willing and able to meet ongoing safety and technical training requirements.

Applicants without the required ticket /license will not be considered

Preferred

- Experience with generator/ engine systems.

- Familiarity with industrial automation or control systems.
