Fence Installer/Laborer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Fence Installer/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves installing fences and supporting various construction and landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites, utilizing hand and power tools, and performing physically demanding tasks. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in carpentry, masonry, and landscape maintenance within a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

- Install various types of fences according to project specifications and safety standards

- Prepare work sites by measuring, marking, and setting up materials

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently

- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood, metal, concrete blocks, and fencing panels

- Assist with framing, concrete forming, masonry work, and landscape maintenance as needed

- Support team members in tasks related to hardscape installation and concrete finishing

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on-site

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during construction activities

Qualifications

- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or masonry is preferred

- Knowledge of frame carpentry, welding, concrete forming, or landscape maintenance is a plus

- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely

- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in outdoor conditions for extended periods

- Experience working on construction sites with exposure to masonry, hardscape, or concrete finishing tasks is advantageous

- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety compliance

- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is preferred
