Job Description Summary

Engineer - Simulation Assisted Engineering (SAE) works within the Plant Integration Engineering team by enabling LEAN integrated plant design (IPD) using modern digital engineering tools and techniques. SAE is a collaborative, cross-disciplinary, systems engineering approach to complex IPD, analysis, and optimization. SAE is based on the use of a modern, physics and mathematics, digital engineering modeling and simulation software toolkit. Focus is on technical risk, engineering labor, and schedule duration reduction during first of a kind (FOAK) plant design.

Relocation to Wilmington, NC is required.

+ Content creation [e.g., Confluence/Atlassian], + Requirements management [e.g., DOORS-NextGen/IBM], + Diagram and drawing [e.g., Visio/Microsoft, AutoCAD/Autodesk], + Design and analysis simulation [e.g., Easy5/MSC, Simulink-MATLAB/MathWorks, Mathcad/PTC, 3KeyMaster/WSC, JADE/GSE, Orchid/L3MAPPS-Harris], + Change, configuration, document and bill of material (BOM) management [e.g., ENOVIA/Dassault-Systemes].

+ ANSI/ANS-3.5-2009 Nuclear Power Plant simulators for use in operator training and examination + REG GUIDE 1.149 Nuclear Power Plant Simulation Facilities for use in operator training, License examination and applicant experience requirements.

The base pay range for this position is $70K - $101K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 7/23/25.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
