We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Paralegal Assistant to support our legal, compliance, and real estate operations. This role works closely with attorneys, executive management, and cross-functional teams to assist with contract review, legal documentation, and regulatory matters.
The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet in handling confidential information, and has a strong interest in California real estate law, business contracts, and corporate compliance. This position offers exposure to high-level business and legal operations within a dynamic and growing organization.
- Assist in the review, drafting, and management of business contracts and agreements, including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and real estate-related documents
- Support legal and compliance matters related to California real estate law, including leasing, landlord-tenant regulations, and property-related documentation
- Conduct legal research across real estate, corporate, and regulatory matters
- Maintain and organize legal files, contracts, and documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and audit readiness
- Track contracts, deadlines, and key legal obligations to support risk management and compliance efforts
- Provide administrative and operational support, including scheduling, document coordination, and calendar management
- Assist with professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred
- Admission to a U.S. state bar (California / Texas preferred) is highly desirable and will be given priority consideration
- Prior experience in a law firm, real estate, or corporate legal environment preferred
- Familiarity with California real estate law and regulatory requirements is strongly preferred
- Experience reviewing and drafting business contracts and agreements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and document management systems
- Mandarin Chinese language skills are a plus due to interaction with international stakeholders
