POSITION SUMMARY: The Corporate Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the company’s strategic initiatives, managing investor / stakeholder relations, and providing critical financial and market analysis to the executive team and board of directors. This role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for the energy sector.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
- Prepare stakeholder updates, manage Q&A, and support the execution of investor meetings and roadshows.
- Prepare and present financial and operational updates to lenders and financial partners, ensuring transparency and alignment with financing agreements.
- Coordinate and deliver monthly and quarterly updates, including strategic committee meetings, board meetings, lender meetings, annual targets, peer benchmarking analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business performance commentary.
- Experience with managing relationships with credit rating agencies and coordinating the rating evaluation service process, including preparation of required materials, responding to information requests, and supporting periodic reviews.
- Develop, design, and deliver high-impact presentations for board meetings, executive sessions, lender meetings/updates, and other strategic meetings. Synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
- Conduct ongoing benchmarking of industry peers and competitors, providing actionable insights on market positioning, financial performance, and strategic initiatives.
- Proactively research and analyze peer company earnings releases, conference call transcripts, and investor presentations to identify industry trends, best practices, and competitive intelligence.
- Monitor and analyze macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and energy market dynamics relevant to mobile power generation. Communicate implications and opportunities to leadership.
- Identify and implement best practices for reporting, analysis, and communication to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the corporate development function.
- Support the board and executive team with ad hoc requests, including scenario modeling, M&A analysis, due diligence, and strategic planning.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
- Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, an any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required.
- 7–10 years total corporate development/investor relations/finance/accounting experience, with 3+ years in Corporate Development / Investor Relations, and at least 3 years in a leadership or management role required.- Prior experience in Power and/or Oil & Gas industry preferred.
- MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills, including forecasting, dashboards, and scenario tools
- Advanced PowerPoint skills, including the ability to design visually compelling and professional presentations, maintain consistent and precise formatting, distill complex information into clear and concise slides, utilize charts and graphics effectively, and ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, and overall messaging.
- Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, and AlphaSense.
- Experience with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion preferred.
- Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Understanding of significant accounting principles under US GAAP.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex financial data clearly.
- Proven attention to detail, organizational discipline, and critical thinking.
- Self-starter with strong time management and leadership presence.

The Corporate Development Manager works primarily indoors and will be sitting prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. The Corporate Development Manager may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, The Corporate Development Manager must be able to lift 25lbs.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
