Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Construction Operations Analyst.
SUMMARY
The Construction Operations Analyst will support various projects by creating Technical Field Advisor (TFA) estimates, controlling project TFA and Project Support Management (PSM) team timekeeping, controlling construction team documentation, and building Power BI reports ensuring Construction and Commissioning Service (CCS) team efficiency and accuracy to ensure a smooth process of project documentation submittals. This role encompasses various responsibilities, emphasizing the delivery of information, the development of processes, and comprehensive reporting. The Construction Operations Analyst serves as the central hub for Construction execution information which supports the Construction and Commissioning Services teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop Technical Field Advisor (TFA) human resource estimates for each new construction project which includes NGS construction and commissioning team members, base equipment factory team members, and equipment supplier field advisors. Support PSM team budget creation for new construction projects.
•Build and maintain annual timesheet workbooks using Microsoft Excel, incorporating TFA human resource estimates. Utilize data analysis tools, visualization, and data validation to track time worked and additional hours. Create templates, update records, and ensure accuracy in time entries.
•Develop Master Project workbooks for comprehensive reporting, consolidating data from multiple projects to provide a holistic view of time allocation, human resource estimates, and project progress.
•Report and provide inputs on total employee hours and human resource estimates to the project controls team for project cost allocation. Summarize employee hours worked on various projects and submit the data to project controls for accurate cost allocation.
•Develop timekeeping reports for PSM team members, including tracking the time spent by Project Support Engineers on various tasks and projects. Provide insights into the team’s productivity, efficiency, and human resource utilization.
•Build Power BI reports for project analysis and tracking, using data modeling, data transformation, and data connectivity. Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize project data, track progress, identify trends, and incorporate human resource estimates.
•Support PSM team on standardizing document procedure templates for all new projects, ensuring consistency with all project information, human resource estimates, and compliance with organizational policies by collaborating with the Document Control team.
•Create procedure reports and monitor the completion of project procedures, compiling data, and generating reports to ensure all procedures are followed and completed on time.
•Assist the PSM Procedure team to set up documents for submittal, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Prepare and organize documents for submission to clients, EPCs, or other stakeholders, ensuring all required information, including human resource estimates, is included and accurate.

•Leverage interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with team members, business partners, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring seamless project execution.
•Utilize analytical techniques to conduct comprehensive analyses of project performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
•Conduct thorough research and identify process improvements to enhance overall project execution, optimize workflows and increase efficiency.
•Adapt to dynamic deadlines and evolving business demands, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to grow with the business.
•Assist the construction team, commissioning team, and PSM engineers with data analysis, system integration, and process optimization. Provide support with any additional needs that arise during project execution.
•Develop ad hoc reports and presentations on varied Project Execution topics
•Perform other duties as may be required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or relevant experience. Two (2) to four (4) years in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Fluent in MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Acrobat Writer, etc.), and graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, etc.

Regularly required to sit and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand and walk. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Hearing protection may be recommended and/or required in some areas.
