Job Summary:
Revolution Industrial is seeking a Project Manager for our Industrial Coatings Division. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our industrial coating projects, from initial scope to final completion, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards. This role involves managing budgets, timelines, and milestones, coordinating with various teams, and acting as the primary client contact.
Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
•Coordinate directly with Pre-Construction Department.
•Define the project objective and perform due diligence on what is needed to clearly define the project goal.
•Communicate project goals and provide oversight to Project superintendent and site management team.
•Identify and gain support of all Stakeholders. (GC, Owner, Engineer, Special Inspections)
•Develop a “Project Schedule” which formally documents the project parameters including the project objective, resources, and timeline for project completion.
•Develop key project milestones and manage the project to the milestones.
•Present key coating projects cost and schedule updates to executive management on a monthly basis.
•Participate in the interview process of hiring hourly staff.
•Manage and execute change orders when needed.
•Utilize RI project management system for tracking schedule, reporting progress and monitoring actual man hours for performance measurement and cost management. (3-week look ahead)
•Assess risks and develop contingency / recovery plans.
•Monitor and coordinate resources through Project Superintendent / PE needed to perform work.
•Coordinate with Procurement / Site Materials Management to ensure all materials are available on site, communicate with Project Superintendent when required to ensure management of materials is set up with laydown areas and storage facilities as required.
•Coordinate with the Safety Department to ensure all Company policies / procedures are followed and all team members are fully aware of the applicable safety requirements.
•Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure all required inspection and testing requirements are defined, audits are occurring as required and turnover packages are developed as per the Client / Contract requirements.
•Create an environment which highly motivates the team to work together.
•Develop and deliver key project documents designed to communicate progress billing to Senior Project Administrator and follow up with Client as required for any delayed invoice payments and progress billing requests.
•Clearly communicate expectations with all associated disciplines during construction hand off meeting, weekly scheduling meetings and project close out.
•Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts.
•Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.
•Over-see submittal process.
•Conduct a pre-construction meeting with each subcontractor.
•Coordinate project review at completion of project and ensure all warranty requirements are complied with.
•Work with team to track and report coating material utilization and manner of application to ensure compliance.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities:
•Possesses a strong understanding of industrial coating, their applications, and relevant industry standards.
•Ability to read and understand blueprints.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to do the same in Spanish is a plus.
•Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
•Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Education and Experience:
At least two years related experience required.
Physical Demands:
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Ability to walk job sites, climb, bend, stretch and reach.
•Ability to wear all forms of PPE and pass a fit test.
•Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
Work Environment:
•The work environment varies between office environment and outside conditions visiting job sites.
•Exposure to industrial coatings, fumes, and various challenging environmental conditions.
•Loud noises, exposure to heavy equipment and safety sensitive situations.
