Class 1 Driver

Scotia Recycling Limited (SRL), a member of the Scotia Investments Limited (SIL) family of companies, is an operator of Atlantic Canada’s leading ­­­recycling facilities located in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. With an approximate workforce of 200 dedicated employees, we specialize in the collection, processing, sales, and brokerage of recyclable materials, and are a proven industry leader that have been in operation since 1976.

We are seeking a full-time, permanent Class 1 Driver to operate a tractor trailer equipped with an onboard compact forklift and liftgate. Based out of Dartmouth, NS, this Monday to Friday position involves picking up baled goods from customers across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.

While the role is not physically strenuous, it does require frequent entry and exit from the truck during pickups. Candidates should be comfortable operating a forklift and working independently, including in all weather conditions. Pickups occur at a variety of customer sites, including loading docks and ground-level areas such as parking lots, requiring safe and efficient forklift operation in diverse environments.
