About This Job
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions, assist with product inquiries, and contribute to a welcoming environment.
Duties
•
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
•
Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
•
Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision and care.
•
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
•
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to assist customers effectively.
•
Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a well-presented store.
•
Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
•
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism.
•
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls.
Requirements
•
Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
•
Proficiency in retail math for accurate transaction processing.
•
Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems.
•
Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
•
Previous experience in retail or a similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
•
Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
•
A friendly demeanor and the ability to work well within a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
