To ensure success in this position, the candidate will need to have a good understanding of transactions involving cash, debit and credit with previous experience in the service sector. We are looking for evening staff.

Preference will be given to people who have worked in a gas station and/or convenience store before.

In addition to these qualities, we require the candidate to have the following abilities:

- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service at all times

- Scan merchandise accurately

- Describe current promotions and advertisements to customers

- Handle payments by cash, credit card or automatic debit

- Use electronic scanners, cash register, or computers

- Give receipts, refunds, credits and assist customers

- Must be very detail oriented

- Open and close till at the beginning and end of each shift

The candidate for this position must have the following skills and requirements:

- Basic math skills

- Detail oriented with a positive attitude

- Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written

- Must be punctual, dependable and hard working

- Self-confident, personable, energetic personality

- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment

- Professional appearance and demeanor

- Basic workplace housekeeping and cleaning

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Shift:

- 4 hour shift

Work days:

- Monday to Friday

- Weekends as needed

Experience:

- Retail Associates & Cashiers: 1 year (preferred)

- sales: 1 year (preferred)

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
