Cactus Wellhead - Quality Control Inspector- Day

This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Hobbs, NM.

Job Summary: Performs a variety of inspection tasks to determine compliance including receiving, in process and final inspection of parts, subassemblies and finished assembled products.

Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

Education, Training, Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years wellhead or valve manufacturing experience is preferred in quality control and/or machining, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: None Required

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Working knowledge of Quality Systems, Mechanical, Electronic and Hydraulic experience. Proficient in dimensional inspection of wellhead and valve components. Must understand, use and properly apply dimensional inspection equipment such as tape measures, scales, OD and ID micrometers, calipers, depth gages, thread inspection equipment of all types. Ability to read and interpret wellhead and valve component engineering drawings, Basic Computer Skills, Basic Language Skills, Strong Mathematical Skills and Basic Reasoning Ability. Must perform and pass an annual eye test.
